About this campaign
A hidden school in Brittany. A father believed dead. Thirty-three days to learn whom to trust. At eleven, Maël Kernevez knows hospital hallways better than playgrounds. A mysterious message claims that his father is still alive, and a countdown begins. Gabriel’s Celtic cross leads him to Avalenn, a hidden school of magic where living walkways, unpredictable spellbooks, friendships, and rivalries open a larger world to him. But the voices follow him, promising the answer he wants most. With Lina, Léo, Yuna, Samir, and Rafael, Maël must learn to recognize dangerous promises and protect his freedom to choose. The Thirty-Three Days is Book 1 of School of Magic Against Demons - The Watchers of Avalenn, a seven-book fantasy saga by Frédéric Luhmer, published by Éditions Noldus. This American English translation is for readers ages 9 and up, teenagers, and adults. We are offering 10 complimentary digital review copies to readers who enjoy magical-school fantasy, family mysteries, friendship, and courage.
