About this campaign

Leo and the Dragon of Sound is a sensory-friendly children’s fantasy about a young knight navigating a kingdom that can sometimes feel far too loud. As Leo encounters overwhelming sounds, unexpected challenges, and a dragon unlike any he expected, he begins to understand that sensitivity is not something that needs to be fixed. The story was created for children who may experience sound differently, including neurodivergent and sensory-sensitive readers, while remaining accessible to any child who enjoys gentle fantasy and adventure. Themes include empathy, self-acceptance, sensory differences, courage, and learning to communicate what you need. I’m especially interested in reviews from parents, educators, librarians, neurodivergent readers, disability advocates, children’s-book reviewers, and anyone who appreciates inclusive picture books. Honest reviews are welcome; reviewers are never expected to leave a positive review.
